Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong delivered a speech at the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Upper House of Uzbekistan’s Parliament, on Aug. 31, as part of his official visit to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In his speech, Lee celebrated the diplomatic ties between Singapore and Uzbekistan, which will mark their 30th anniversary in 2027, and welcomed Uzbekistan’s "impending accession" to the WTO.
