A Palestinian family remain under siege by illegal Israeli settlers in Qusra, occupied Palestine, for the second week. Palestinian-American Louis Ridi spoke to MEE about the restrictions and violence the family has faced. He owns one of the homes under siege in the town in the occupied West Bank and gained media attention last week when he made the trip from the US back to his family home in Qusra to support his family. He reunited with his elderly mother and brother and his neighbours in his home, where they have been unable to leave or get food and other supplies without coordination with the Israeli army. His neighbours have been sheltering in his house with their two young children after Israeli soldiers occupied their home under the reasoning that they would protect them from the settlers. The army has yet to remove them.
