The Open Book in Wigtown, Scotland, lets guests stay in the flat above the shop while running the bookshop during the day. Think Notting Hill meets a cosy Scottish getaway. The Airbnb experience has welcomed hundreds of budding booksellers since launching in 2014, with visitors travelling from as far as Beijing and Hawaii to try it out.
