✨Meet Boulder✨ Sooooo…. a lot has happened 🙃 It’s been just as rough a start to 2026 as it was 2025 - 👏😄YAY😄👏 But then enters 🫴🏻 Boulder 🪨 One of these (back to back to back to back) defining moments was having to say goodbye to our Rocky who has been battling large cell lymphoma for nearly two years 😔 However, if you followed his story, you know that he was initially given only 3 weeks to live upon diagnosis, so I am SO grateful for every moment we had longer with him 🫂 Back in 2020, Rocky found himself in one of our traps during a TNR project & was FIV+. When he was diagnosed with cancer in 2024, he became a hospice case. He originally responded SO well to his cancer treatment that he was *just* about to be deemed in remission. However, we opted to do an extra precautionary ultrasound 4 weeks after his final one (because we extra like that 🙃) & that’s when we found that his mass had begun growing once again 😔 Having to try a new chemotherapy protocol this time around, he unfortunately did not respond as well as he did the first time 😕. Over the past 6 months, we’ve been waiting for Rocky to give us the signal & last week he finally did just that 💔 (I’ll post about that in another video). But apparently Rocky’s signal to peace out of this dimension was to make room for someone new who needed the vacancy. …because not *3 hours later* 🙃 ….Boulder shows up on our doorstep. Literally. One of my patrons (where you can keep up with me a tad bit more while I’ve been absent here 😬) gave the SpongeBob reference & we went with it 🤌🏻 So welcome, Boulder 🤝 Welcome to the shitshow.
