Healthy Thai basil chicken stir-fry✨ I’m partnering with @crateandbarrel to refresh my go-to kitchen tools with quality materials I feel good about cooking with. I made this recipe in my Crate-exclusive All-Clad Curated Ceramic Non-Stick sauté pan, cooked the rice in the saucepan, and stored the leftovers in glass containers for easy lunches all week. Hope you give it a try! #CratePartner Sauce:▪️1 Tbsp Soy Sauce▪️2 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce (optional for color)▪️2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce▪️1 Tbsp Fish Sauce▪️2 tsp Sugar▪️1 tsp Cornstarch▪️1/2 tsp Black Pepper▪️1/4 Cup Water▪️ Stir Fry:▪️1 Tbsp Oil, or more if needed▪️1 lb Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces▪️Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper▪️1 Medium Shallot, thinly sliced▪️1/2 a Medium Yellow Onion, cut into 1/2-inch wedges▪️4 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped▪️1 Thai Chili, thinly sliced (optional for spice)▪️4 oz Green Beans, trimmed and cut into 1+1/2-inch pieces▪️1 Small Red Bell Pepper, sliced▪️2 Cups Fresh Thai Basil Leaves (or sub regular basil)▪️Warm Jasmine Rice, for serving▪️ 1️⃣ In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, cornstarch, black pepper, and water. 2️⃣ Heat the oil in a large wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken, season lightly with salt and pepper, and spread into one layer. Cook undisturbed for 3-5 mins until nicely browned on the bottom, then continue cooking while stirring for another 2-3 mins until just cooked through. Transfer to a plate. 3️⃣ Add the shallots and cook for 1-2 mins until softened. Stir in the onion and cook 2-3 mins, then add the garlic, Thai chili, and green beans. Cook for 2-3 mins, stirring often, until the onion begins to soften and the green beans are crisp-tender. 4️⃣ Add the bell pepper and cook for 1-2 mins until the peppers are starting to soften. Return the chicken and any accumulated juices to the pan. 5️⃣ Stir the sauce, then pour it into the pan. Cook, tossing everything together, for 2-3 mins until the sauce has reduced slightly and coats the chicken and vegetables. 6️⃣ Turn off the heat and stir in the basil until just wilted. Serve over warm jasmine rice and enjoy!
