Does anyone else get genuinely happy when they see books? Books have brought so much joy into my life. Some of my best memories growing up were getting lost in a great book, staying up too late because I couldn’t stop reading, learning new ideas, and feeling like the world got bigger every time I turned a page. That’s one of the reasons I love seeing these community libraries all over Israel. They’re everywhere — tucked into neighborhoods, parks, sidewalks, and shared spaces — inviting people to take a book, leave a book, and keep knowledge moving. It says something beautiful about a culture when books are placed out in the open for everyone. Learning. Curiosity. Community. Trust. Small things like this reveal big values.
