A morning that started with baby owls ended with a Florida bobcat. @davidshooked was scanning the trees at sunrise when he spotted what he thought was an owl high in an oak. One look through the LUMIX S1RII told a different story. Working from across a canal, he leaned on Hybrid Zoom to pull in detailed video without losing image quality. When the rain came down, the weather sealing meant there was no reason to pack up and head home. He stayed put and kept shooting. Switching to photo mode, the autofocus locked onto the bobcat’s eyes and held throughout the encounter. High Speed Pre Capture closed the deal, buffering the action before the shutter press so none of the standout moments slipped past.
