Once upon a time, a broke backpacker with a lot of dreams landed in Bali. One of those dreams was the Lost Villa When I arrived in Bali in 2015, I immediately fell in love with this island. It felt like everything I ever wanted from a home. It was sunny, tropical, adventurous, had amazing people who actually LIVED but also had a mission in life. And it was wildly affordable compared to life in Vancouver. But my time on the island was limited. I had a corporate job to fly home to in Canada and after several months of travel, I could barely even afford my flight back. As my plane landed on my cold and rainy side of the planet, I dreamed someday I would be back to that tropical paradise of Bali. Fortunately, I would soon discover the power of a dream. 2016 - I quit my job and chased my dream to make a living online 2017 - I started making money and moved to the place that made me happiest! I rented my first villa in Bali 2019 - I bought my first ever home (of course in Bali) Fast forward a few years, risks, decisions, failures and successes later… well that chapter has yet to be written.
