Makes me want a hot dog real bad! 🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭 1. Cut the top off a vanilla cupcake, and then cut the top in half - this will be the hot dog bun! PS- I like to work with frozen cupcakes so they’re more sturdy 2. Add a flat(ish) base of buttercream to the cupcake- it can be any color. I used the ateco 809 tip 3. Place the two bun halves into the frosted base, flat edge down 4. Use a large round tip (wilton 2A) to pipe the hot dog into the bun. So happy with how realistic the color looks! I used about 4 drops chocolate brown + 2 drops super red, both by americolor 5. Use a toothpick or scribe tool to lightly carve diagonal slices intop the top 6. Add ketchup, or mustard, or both!
