When I say “masculine,” I’m referring to traits we’ve traditionally associated with masculinity, like independence, self-reliance, decisiveness, and problem-solving. Those aren’t good or bad traits. They’re simply human traits. Some women naturally choose those qualities, and that’s great. Others develop them because modern life asks a lot of them. Both can be true at the same time. My point isn’t that women should be one way or another. It’s that the expectations placed on many women today have changed dramatically, and I think it’s worth talking about. And yes... when I shared this idea with my wife, the first thing she asked was: “So... do you think I’m masculine?” 😂 (For the record, that was definitely a trap, and I’m happy to report I survived.)
