I have replayed in my mind the moment this woman encountered Jesus so many times, and every time I meditate on it, it truly brings me to tears! 🥲 It’s so easy to judge her, like everyone did in her day, until you realize she’s just like us! She’s a woman who keeps going to the wrong things to fill herself. But the truth is, the last thing we should do is judge this woman - we should learn from her! Because she’s a woman who dropped everything when she realized Jesus had everything she needed. I spoke about the woman at the well a couple of years ago at @liveoriginal sister conference & it is honestly what inspired my new book. 🥹 It was how personal Jesus got with her, and how unoffended she was by him being so personal, that made me want to learn all I could from her.
