Trying on MY OUTLANDER DRESS!!! 😍 In case you missed my last video on this… a few weeks ago, I bid on and won one of the costumes in the Outlander Auction at Bonhams!!!! I’m still pinching myself that I get to own such an amazing piece of @Outlander history! This is the dress that Lotte Verbeek wears in Season 1, Episode 2, ‘Castle Leoch’ when Geillis and Claire meet for the first time. Geillis says to Claire during their encounter, "They say I'm a witch…”!!! PS. Did you guess this was the dress I won?! Honestly, I’m so in love and so happy to have this beautiful costume by Terry Dresbach! This series is so incredibly special to me and I am absolutely shocked that it fits (mostly!)! Oh my goodness, I am going to treasure this forever. Some notes on the shawl that were so neat to read about in the auction, it was supposed to be worn with her head through the hole, but Lotte Verbeek said that "Geillis wouldn't care of such things". ICONIC. And since it was Geillis' costume, Dresbach chose unconventional materials, to allude to the sense of her being from another time. This is also the ONLY version of this costume. Seriously, somebody pinch me!! I don’t think I’ll ever stop talking about this, so I hope everyone is happy for me to make this my entire personality forevermore.
