Hip opening stretches to open up the pelvis and release tension in your pelvic floor at the end of your pregnancy is an amazing thing to focus on! There isnβt just one stretch that opens up your entire pelvis completely so focusing on a variety of hip positions will help release tension and make extra room for baby. Wide knee positions, asymmetrical release (hip shifts!) , internal and external rotations of your legs are three different stretching variations you can do! During these exercises, hold for a few seconds so you can really focus on releasing pelvic floor tension. This is an important tool to focus on prior to birth! You can start prioritizing these whenever throughout your pregnancy, but most definitely around 34-35 weeks! π«Άπ» Save this and send it to a pregnant mama who might find it helpful! π€ I do have a prenatal program on my app that will help keep your body strong throughout pregnancy and help prep your body for labor!
