Her name is Sally, she has been fighting for 7 years, 123 chemos, 2 major surgeries and now weighing only 73lbs… She has decided is time to have the best quality of life she has left without suffering in a hospital bed. We are trying to ask for help to keep her comfortable at home, so we set a GoFundme in hopes to make it happen for her! What will the money be used for? 1. The home she lives in is an old mobile home, it doesn’t have power hooked up to it, a pole is needed in order to do it and an electrician to come and help set it all up and help us ensure it is safe throughout the house to do so. 2. She needs a better source of heat throughout the house, we plan on having her furnace up and working once power is installed to the home, the mobile home does have a furnace but we will need to get an oil tank put in place. 3. As I stated before, the mobile home is old, the flooring throughout the whole home needs to be changed. There is a lot of very soft spots and even some holes throughout the place. She needs a sturdy floor to be able to move around for her needs. 4. Plumbing, she does have running water currently, however some of her plumbing is old and needs to be replaced, specifically in the kitchen and bathroom. 5. She was blessed with a donation of a walk-in shower to be able to safely clean herself. However the installation will cost money. 6. Funeral costs… That is something that as we all know isn’t a cheap thing and it is a part that we are aware will happen. When her time on this earth ends, we would like to ensure she is well taken cared of. Those are some of the things that the money will be used on, we do know hospice care will be provided, but that is not all she needs. She needs a proper and safe home to be able to to have that care be put in place for her. All that we are trying to do is ensure she lives her last moments for however long they are in a safe, proper and relaxing as possible environment.
