Old Cartoon Logic Was Different This week’s scene comes from the cartoon “Daredevil Droopy,” originally released in 1951! This animation was created by Tex Avery, one of the great American animators of the 20th century. His style mostly revolved around these brilliant visual gags and absurdly chaotic slapstick, a contrast to the more elegant, gentle, and realist stylings of what Disney was doing at the time. They don’t make ‘em like they used to! Here’s my rendition with live sound effects! Been a while since I made one of these foley vids!
