love shouldn’t feel like this because love isn’t loud, it’s quiet. It’s not in only the big romantic gestures but rather the little moments that happen every day. I grew up watching romcoms thinking that’s the only way love could be shown. I thought it needed to be big, and heard and given in a way that couldn’t be turned down. So I was a little shocked when I entered my first relationship and found out I had it all wrong. Love is quiet, and that’s the loudest type.
