Why are these called "Patience" cookies? 1. Your patience in watching all the videos I made in this series :) and 2. It used to take FOREVER to make these! "Pasencia" means patience in Tagalog — named after the process of whipping egg whites by hand (which takes a looong time if you've ever done it). I saved these for last for a reason: they're simple, classic, old-fashioned cookies...and they remind me of my lola and a version of life that feels like a distant dream now. It's timeless 🤍 Pro tip: throw them in the air fryer for a few minutes to toast them and allow to fully cool before eating. My dad ate the entire batch I made which proves it was indeed worth the effort 😤 🫵 Try this if you want something sweet and light. If you watched every single video on this series, thank you SO much! A lot of work has been put on these videos and I hope you were able to get a new favorite snack(s) out of it. I'd love to hear which ones were your favorites in the comments ♥️ #filipinofood #filipinosnacks #filipinosnackguide #asiansnacks #foodfinds
