A song about some of the heavier things I’ve been feeling in postpartum. I felt mom guilt even writing this one, but I’ve been posting a lot of super happy content on here …So here’s a little reminder that social media doesn’t tell the full truth. Being her mom is the greatest thing I’ll ever do. I prayed for it. I also haven’t left the house alone in 4 months. Motherhood is not all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes it’s a scary, lonely, confusing, transformative, existential rollercoaster. I’m gonna call this one “The Death of Her Old Self” ✍️
