I went to South Africa hoping for a few great photos. I came home with some of my favourites I’ve ever taken. From sunrise game drives to long afternoons in the bush, every day brought something new. Brilliant lilac-breasted rollers, tiny sunbirds glowing in the light, giant eagles overhead, elephants crossing the road, curious giraffes, and predators disappearing into the grass before you could even lift your camera. What amazed me most wasn’t just the diversity—it was how alive every moment felt. You never knew what would appear around the next corner. These are some of my favourite images from that adventure. Each one reminds me why I travel: not just to see wildlife, but to witness wild moments that only happen once. South Africa challenged me as a photographer, rewarded my patience, and left me with memories I’ll never forget. Which photo is your favourite? 🦅🦁📸🌍 #birdphotography #southafrica
