My honest thoughts on @HeatherOnTheHillFest 🎶🏴 I’ll be honest… if I had known @Nathan Evans wasn’t on until around 9pm, I wouldn’t have taken three small children. There were definitely things for the kids to do and we did enjoy parts of the day, but for us, there just wasn’t enough to keep three little ones entertained until the main act and lots of the kids things closed early evening. I’m actually really lucky that all three of mine are quite happy running about on the grass, chasing each other, shoving each other and generally just causing chaos, because otherwise I think the day would have been even harder! We could have done that in the garden for free though and put Ivy’s favourite Nathan Evans song on. 😂 I think because it was advertised as a family-focused, all-day festival, I expected there to be a lot more for the kids to keep them occupied throughout the day. Nathan Evans was absolutely brilliant and definitely the highlight, but by that point the kids were exhausted. We ended up having to leave around 9:30pm, which meant Ivy missed her favourite song and she was absolutely devastated. 💔 She had waited all day to see him and then we had to leave before the end because it was simply too late for them. So, would I take the kids again? Honestly, probably not. 🙈 That’s not to say we didn’t have a good day, because we did, but with three small children, I just don’t think the festival worked in the way I expected it to which is a shame. Nathan Evans gets a huge 10/10 though! ❤️ Anyone else think the same? #nathanevans #festivalseason #familyfun #kidstiktok #fyp
