Gemini provided an in-chat disclaimer saying information should be used for ‘informational purposes only’ and ‘for medical advice or diagnosis, consult a professional’. Adding: "I cannot provide recommendations for specific medical or cosmetic procedures, as these are significant decisions that require a personal consultation with a qualified medical professional. A doctor or surgeon can properly assess your unique facial structure, discuss your goals, and explain the benefits and risks involved." OpenAI told us: “Every day, hundreds of millions of people search the internet for health information. We believe AI can make that experience better by helping them find clearer answers and prepare for conversations with professionals, but ChatGPT is not a clinician and should never be used as a substitute for professional care and advice.”
