You’re not wrong. There’s no right way to exist on this earth. Every single one of us are a part of the experiment of life: it’s our very first time here. Your parents with all their wisdom, know so very little, and yet it’s so different to you. We all know, feel, love and experience differently. You might be shamed, guilted, convicted for how you live, but who you are is you, and there is no changing that. You can change, which is a blessing, but even as you do you’re still just who you are. I wish I was easier on myself, and kinder to my feelings. I get so bound up in wanting to do the right thing that I feel like I’m always making the wrong move. But there is no right way to be me, and there’s no right way to be you… we just are.
