I’m reversing the wording I hear people use when they say someone “went from Level 1 to Level 3” or “had a Level 3 day.” I don’t believe you slide up and down the autism spectrum. Support needs and behaviors can vary from day to day, but that doesn’t mean someone’s autism level is changing.
