WATCH: A dog was rescued from floodwaters caused by heavy southwest monsoon rains on Saturday evening, August 29. Bacho Mercurio Rosalie, a teacher at Katipunan Elementary School in San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal, captured the incident on video after becoming stranded on the school’s second floor. She said the water rose to neck-deep levels and took nearly eight hours to subside. “Pagod na pagod na siyang lumangoy, buti na lang talaga may nag-rescue sa kanya,” Rosalie said.
