Sometimes what looks like a behavior problem is also energy without the right outlet. When I bring Tic Tac and his human Anthony to my Dog Psychology Center, I put them through a series of exercises so I can better understand what Tic Tac really needs. That's when I discover something important: Tic Tac is an athlete and his humans didn't even realize it. A high-energy dog needs more than affection. They need physical challenges, mental stimulation, rules, boundaries, and the right activities to fulfill who they are. When that energy doesn't have a purpose, it can come out as frustration, excitement, and unwanted behavior. My goal is to show Anthony how to work with Tic Tac's natural energy instead of constantly fighting against it. Is your dog secretly an athlete too? Tell me in the comments.
