My heart used to lean on the things of this world but now i yearn to lean on the heart of Jesus. Even though it might not look like much in the first clip, i remember that day being a day that i found a lot of self validation. That day was the first day a video went viral for me and i felt fulfilled… well only for a moment. Before surrendering all to Jesus, i put my identity in the way i looked and the way i performed. Day in and day out it was a struggle because you expect perfection but never get it. The only one you can expect perfection from is the one that came to die in our place, Jesus. Through Jesus there is eternal life and a joy of living that this world could never bring. Today, by the power and mercy of God, I am freed from the slavery of the things of this world and have been bought with a price, through the blood of Jesus Christ. Through Him i am gifted a new life and Everlasting life! Amen.
