Introducing our final cover star of the spring issue of HIGHSNOBIETY, @kaytranada. Kay is the type of artist that just gets you off your feet, whose beats take you through the movement. His success has amounted to Grammys, collaborations with artists such as @kaliuches, and a change to the whole electronic scene. What comes as a surprise, is that it was all a “happy accident,” as the artist puts it. Kay’s real passion lay in the creation of dark and moody sample-driven hip-hop. Montreal shit, as he so succinctly put it — and the very music he grew up with.
