Extra tid bits! 🚢 None of the 3 crates have been recovered (to public knowledge) and are likely still down on the ocean floor somewhere. They could be in the humungous debris field, or trapped in the bow section of the wreckage in a cargo hold. I’d like to think some of the artefacts are still in tact, but in reality, they may have been crushed or deteriorated beyond recognition at this point depending on what was inside them. 👀 As we can see from Molly’s insurance list, the “3 crates of ancient models for Denver Museum” were listed at $500 which is around $17,000 in today’s money. Not as much as her necklace though! Which was listed at $20k and worth around $650,000 today! 🤯 The real heart of the ocean 💎🌊 Spooky to think that somewhere almost 4000m below the Atlantic there’s a bunch of unopened boxes of ancient artefacts which will likely never be seen again.
