One moment you’re hanging with your family back home, the next you’re singing words you wish you never had to write. I think that’s what gets me?? Life keeps moving. The sun still comes up. People still laugh. You still make plans. And then, out of nowhere, you’re reminded that someone you love isn’t apart of it anymore. I wanted this song to remind me/ anyone walking through grief that there’s another side to this perspective.
