Yesterday, August 18th, would’ve been my dad’s 71st birthday ♥️ I almost didn’t post this; it’s a bit more exposed than I usually am, but I hope that in sharing this someone else missing their loved one may feel a little less alone. People think that after 6 years you’re “over it”. It gets better, but some days it feels like it just happened, and other days you find yourself waiting for them to walk in the door again.
