I went blind after showering with my contacts in. Doing this allowed the amoeba’s that live in all water to get stuck on my contacts. They then embedded into my corneas and have been eating them for the past year. Even though I have been in treatment for over a year, my eyes still flares up with no explainable reason and this one is particularly bad.
