Can you guess the song before we reveal the lyrics? @allstarchorus 1st rehearsal of the 26/27 season was yesterday and Gospel Solfège was in the building. I was listening for the following: Part Retention - I did not give them a lead sheet or the words - I taught it by rote first, Blending (not letting your voice or your section overpower the group), Listening to Each other (don’t over sing), Storytelling- as a group we came up with several stories of what story this song could be telling- I also told them the meaning of the song. My Choir babies are AMAZING and I’m excited about this season! Note: I know the altos sang the wrong solfège -Le instead of La -that’s my mistake but they still sound good and I corrected it on the screen 😝#girlconductor #choir #allstars #marvinsapp #solfege
