Some kids are getting grown up way too late. This issue of "grown late" is well-intended, but too many parents are treating their 22-year-old son like he's 9. We have over-coddled a generation. Kids need consequences, ramifications, and boundaries. That's how kids learn! Not, "mommy and daddy will protect you," then you send them out into the big, bad, real world...and then they're crying about everything, blaming their job or their bosses.
