For 3 years, Duane Miller could barely speak. In 1990, while serving as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Brenham, Texas, he got the flu. The virus damaged the nerves controlling his vocal cords, leaving him with a painful, raspy whisper. Over the next three years, Miller says he was seen by 63+ specialists and their medical teams, totaling more than 200 doctors. The damage was considered permanent. He eventually resigned from his church. But in 1992, after moving back to Houston, his former Sunday school class at First Baptist Church Houston asked him to teach again. Despite barely being able to speak, he agreed. Then came his darkest moment. Just TWO DAYS before his healing, Miller says he came dangerously close to taking his own life. He was emotionally exhausted. His faith felt weaker than ever. Yet on January 17, 1993, he showed up to teach because he couldn't find anyone to replace him. The lesson that morning? Psalm 103 "He heals all your diseases..." Miller remembers thinking: But why not me? Then he began talking about God redeeming our lives from "the pit." As he said the word "pit," the pressure in his throat suddenly disappeared. His voice came back. And the entire moment was captured on audio. Doctors examined him afterward. Miller says his lead physician could no longer find evidence that he had ever suffered from the voice problem. Coincidence? Yeah, maybe the resurrection of Jesus was just a coincidence too. 🤔 Let this testimony strengthen your faith. Keep in mind. Two days earlier, Miller believed he had reached the end of his story. God wasn't finished writing it. #miracles #goddid #testimony #healing #faith
