EXCLUSIVE: Your phone provider could soon get graded on how well it protects you from illegal robocalls. The FCC is proposing a new “Robocall Scorecard” designed to show consumers how effectively providers are fighting unwanted calls. The scorecard could measure call-blocking tools, consumer complaints, the number of calls providers block and how many illegal robocalls reach customers. FCC Chairman Brendan Carr says the tool would help consumers make informed choices and encourage providers to improve their efforts.
