It is normal to lose motivation sometimes. Finding virality on this app has been a roller coaster that gave me incredible opportunities but also quickly led me to question things I had never thought twice about in the past: why do I make music? What do I want to get out of it? How does a public response influence what I make? At the end of the day, even when I feel more doubt in myself and my music than ever before, I try not to let it stop me from continuing with the work. I am finishing up my next album and it feels like a subconscious reaction to these questions.
