Day 117 learning how to surf. Forecast was good but Mother Nature had a different plan. Strong offshore and current. Overhead sets. Hard to take off, very difficult to dig the board into the wave. Once on the wave, the wind would do funny things to the board. The strong wind also made it very cold for my bald head👩🦲. Very challenging session. However, looking back at the videos, it was actually not bad for a kook that only surfed for 117 days. 😆🌊. I will take this as a win. #felixzulhendriphd #newzealand #piha
