Villans, what a 7-year journey it’s been. We spoke about believing before the European title & I want to thank everyone for your belief in me over the years. To all the people present in the stadiums and around the world, the players, the managers, the staff, everyone associated with Aston Villa, I will never forget your support and the time we had. The incredible highs in Europe, the lows we went through together, they’ve all made me into the person I am today. Villa Park has become my home and your devotion to this club is something incredibly rare within the world of football, there’s a magic that surrounds this badge. It has been an honour to grow with you all. Wearing that armband was a privilege I'll treasure and the special times we shared will be lifelong memories.
