THANK YOU🥹🫶🏼 With just 24 hours notice, we threw out an open invitation to come hang out with us at the beach. I had no idea how many people would show up… I just knew I couldn’t wait any longer to hug some of the people who make this mission possible. The people who are the reason Nick, Bodie and I are still able to be out here doing what we’re doing every single day🐾 And then to my surprise, our community worked together to turn it into a SURPRISE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION😱🎉 People drove hours to be there. People from across the country who couldn’t possibly make it found ways to contribute. There were decorations, letters, food, happy tears, so many hugs and so many VERY loved doggies🥹🐶💗 TWO of our Expedition Ola dogs were there with their forever families🫶🏼🐾 @bex and @cali standing in the middle of the community that helped make their journeys possible… I MEAN COME ON😭😭😭 Talk about a full circle moment! Everywhere I looked, there were smiling faces of people I’ve seen in our comments and messages… except suddenly you weren’t little profile pictures on my phone anymore, you were right there!!!🥰 And while all of you went so far out of your way to make sure I knew how loved and appreciated I am, I hope you walked away knowing just how much we LOVE & APPRECIATE YOU. I didn’t touch my phone the entire night. The few videos I have are because people grabbed it and recorded little moments for me! The amount of love, community and compassion that was on that beach could never be captured in a video but I got to see it. Feel it. Hug it. It was overwhelming in the absolute BEST way. Thank you to every single person who showed up last night as well as every single one of you who couldn’t be there but continues to show up for us and these dogs every day. You are so much more a part of this mission than you know. I feel unbelievably lucky that I got to spend the evening before my birthday surrounded by our Expedition Ola community!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! THANK YOU!!!😭🫶🏼
