Since when do we listen to the streets? Always. A couple years ago, I spazzed and made a GIANT bow as part of my Christmas decor. Did I love it at the time? Sure. Did I want to keep it? Absolutely not. So, I shoved it under my bed in the hopes of repurposing it for something less frilly. Then, the time came. CURTAINS. I added trim, made a faux valence, and put that baby up. Now the entrance into the living room is grand, guests get a kick out of walking through them, and the dog occasionally gets zoomies and nearly rips them down. But this is her house, so we deal with it. Just because it’s a rental doesn’t mean it has to be boring. I’ve said that so many times, I should get it tattooed.
