Maybe it was because we were 10 years wiser, making the same promises in exactly the same spot after having actually lived Life and knowing that we had kept the original promises for that decade. During our renewal, we were going through a really hard time financially. My husband had abruptly lost his job and was working several jobs to keep us afloat. We had always planned to celebrate 10 years and decided to do it anyway. Everything you see in these photos was either bought in charity shops or vinted. It was so special to celebrate with friends we didn’t know yet when we were married originally and most importantly to be able to share these moments with my children, most of which either don’t remember our wedding or had not been born yet. I loved getting ready with my daughters and we stayed in the same room that I got ready in for my actual wedding day. The whole day was just magical and so much more calm with so much less pressure. Our day was captured by the incredible @Alexandra Szigeti Photography
