I don’t want to be an I told you so person. But I live in a community of republican farmers. And they sincerely think that republican policies help them. And maybe some do. Farmer, a political party is not supposed to be who you are. It’s a vendor. You picked it to do a job. But they keep screwing you over again and again. You thought Trump cared about you. No! He cares about big corporations making profit, making you go bankrupt, and then buying up your family farm. Your farm is who you are. That ground has your family’s name on it and your father’s work in it, and it does not care one bit how you registered. I know the DMs you send me about trans people and litter boxes in school bathrooms. What matters to you? You’ve made it clear. And it’s not your farm.
