Grateful for God working in my heart and in my life despite the hard days and the challenges in overcoming the hurt. One day I’m broken, the next I feel so empowered and ready to see what God has in store for my life. I slipped a bit, ended up in some places I shouldn’t have been in, realized healing doesn’t come when you’re running from God and the hurt. Healing comes when you face it. You face the pain, you face the fear, you face the hard parts, allow yourself to work through each emotion, and struggle because THATS when you create space for lasting change and genuine healing. Everyday looks a bit different from the previous. Some days are really hard and some are a little less heavy.
