Want to avoid poverty? William A. Galston, former deputy assistant for domestic policy to U.S. President Bill Clinton, spent decades analyzing poverty data. His conclusion: To give yourself the best chance of success, do three things: graduate high school, wait until you’re 20 to have children, and marry before you have your first child. It sounds simple, but the numbers are staggering. You’ve got a 97% chance of staying out of poverty if you follow this path. Tell your kids. Tell your teenagers. Tell anyone who needs hope and direction. And if you didn't follow this path, your past doesn’t get the final word. God does, and He’s in the business of redemption. You may have a tougher road, but with discipline, sacrifice, and a clear plan, you can still win. #successful #personaldevelopment
