welcome to my little house in savannah π designing buttercup bungalow was my love letter to savannah. this house was always meant to feel like an homage to southern charm- but with my twist. playful, maximalist, layered. i wanted every room to feel like a storybook moment the second you stepped inside. we used 9 different wallpapers throughout the home, each one chosen to create its own personality while still feeling calm, soft and connected. that balance of pattern on pattern has always been my favorite challenge- making a maximalist home feel soothing instead of overwhelming. the color palette was inspired by the architecture in savannahβ¦ the painted porches, the historic trims, the soft pastels that live in all the old homes here. i wanted that same warmth and nostalgia but filtered through my style. from the gingham upholstery to the scalloped drapery to the floral bathrooms, everything was designed to feel whimsical and lived in~ like buttercup bungalow has existed for decades, collecting charm as it aged. and after months of planning, renovating and bringing this vision to lifeβ¦ buttercup bungalow is finally finished π«ππ»
