This weekend was AMAZING! 🩷✨ I had the honor of doing @Nieyana Gavin hair, the beautiful wife of @Kelontae Gavin Official for the Stellar Awards in Charlotte, NC! They also invited me to come along to several events throughout the weekend, which gave me the opportunity to meet so many people in the Gospel industry that I’ve literally been listening to since I was a child. 🥹🩷 We had such a good time! Nieyana and Kelontae were SO welcoming. It genuinely felt like I had known them forever! I don’t believe in treating my clients like “just clients.” I love building real relationships and being there to help however I can — so yes, I was doing hair AND helping her get dressed because that’s just how we were rocking 😂🩷 For the big night, we went with a side-part sew-in using FOUR bundles of 20” from @DhairBoutique , and it went perfectly with her dress! 😍 Shoutout to @makeupbyimonie for the beat and @munchythebarber for the fire cut! He also put me on to this mini blow dryer they’ve been taking on the road… y’all, I think I’m finna get me one 😂😭 Such an amazing weekend, amazing people, and honestly, such an eye-opening experience.
