A Scottish grandad had his Christmas plans ruined after accidentally telling US border control he was a terrorist ππ John Stevenson, 78, and his wife Moira were due to travel to America when he mistakenly clicked βyesβ to the question asking whether he was a terrorist on his US visa form. John said the form kept timing out and crashing, and when it reopened, he believes the answer somehow changed from βnoβ to βyesβ without him noticing. After calling US border control to find out why his visa had been refused, he was told: βYouβre a terrorist.β π βI told them that I was 70 years old and I donβt even recognise what that means,β he said. Thankfully, United Airlines reportedly refunded the tickets and offered the couple two free flights to New York once the issue was resolved
