Never want to play victim card because so many others have it worse off but life has been trying the last few years and while there’s been some incredible moments in the mix, I’ve often felt like I’ve had to fight HARD just to have a few of them. I’ve witnessed some incredibly unfair outcomes, disappointments in people and life, and in the timing of things. I’ve always faced life with a go-getter attitude —to just get up and keep going because “that’s life” and we have no choice but to keep going. But lately, that “keep going” energy is quite honestly fucking exhausting. This song and this particular part of the song allowed me to channel some of this quiet isolation, exhaustion, and existentialism and finally give it a megaphone and a voice. I hope it potentially releases something in those of you who may have been feeling the similarly. Go give my cover of @kellyclarkson Sober a listen. @Kelly Clarkson Show it’s yours now 🎧 #coversong #kellyclarkson #singingcover #singing #kellyclarksonshow
