Do you struggle on slopers? Large slopers that you encounter in the gym can feel hard to hold - don’t make it more difficult than needed! In this example, Noah shows a common habit of less experienced climbers: pulling TOO hard and staying TOO engaged. Instead, try to find a way to lessen the strain. Lower your center of gravity, straighten your arms and dangle on the hold instead of fighting it, use your feet and legs to find ways to carry your momentum through the moves, etc. As a reminder, we are showing an example here - there’s no “right” or “wrong” way, but there is (almost) always something you can do in climbing to be more efficient or make it easier!
