President Donald Trump recently warned that if we “kill the golden goose,” we will only have ourselves to blame. The bigger conversation is capital. We are entering one of the largest infrastructure buildouts in modern history. AI, data centers, energy infrastructure and the power grid all require enormous amounts of capital. But that buildout is happening in a very different monetary environment. Interest rates are higher. The cost of capital is higher. Government debt continues to expand. Long term bond yields remain elevated. Higher for longer changes the math. When money was cheap, growth could be financed aggressively. When capital becomes expensive, every project, every investment and every dollar of debt has to work harder. This isn’t political. It’s economics. America has an opportunity to lead the next technological infrastructure cycle, but innovation still has to coexist with the realities of debt, interest rates and capital markets. Don’t get emotional about the headlines. Study the capital flows. Study the bond market. Study where infrastructure spending is going. The numbers usually tell the story before the narrative catches up. Educational purposes only. Not financial advice. #investing #crypto
